Comprehensive design solution for marketing analytics platform

In this case study we provide an outlook on our very first project as a studio back in the summer of 2020— a comprehensive design solution for the marketing analytics start-up, a company that puts focus on data analytics and budget optimisation in multi-channel advertising processes. The purpose of the project was to provide brand naming, develop core digital branding, and design web app for marketing analytics and management.
This brand naming follows the brand strategy principles and foundations as well as phonetically refers to their primary focus — ad statistics. "Stated" was a phonetic combination of the words "statistics" and "ads", at the same time converted into a verb-like form. While we came to this brand naming by phonetic combinations, we didn't go for a neologism type of name but took a past tense of the verb "state" as it organically adds extra meaning to the customers.
One of the client preferences was to have a recognizable product reference in the logo. Therefore, the final logo references the UI toggles. While we kept the shape of interface toggles, we wanted to give it more volume, dynamic and a powerful feeling through variation of shades and gradients.
Fonts selection was a significant part of the branding process as it required multilingual support while translating correct brand values and principles, such as simplicity, reliability and innovativeness. We went with Muller as the primary font and Inter as a secondary: both fonts are extremely well-fitted to the UI, providing a balanced yet clean and professional look.
Klad created a dashboard with the tiled-based widget logic and several view modes to manage ads to minimise the number of user page refreshes. We even developed a single unified ad creation flow that combined and standardised ad creation mechanics from 9 platforms in a single flow. Klad created guides for the user permission hierarchies and data visualisation for the ads and ad campaign performances. Stated UX aimed to nudge users to have more ad tests and constantly check analytics insights. For instance, an A/B ad test can be done just in two clicks, while performance graphs are visible almost on every screen except for settings. Stated was the first large-scale project for Klad team as a studio. Till this day, we are incredibly proud of what we were able to achieve and implement within this project, especially taking into account limited timelines. We do believe that Stated analytics platform is indeed a great, ambitious and even in some way revolutionary product.
