Vinst is a next-generation data-driven marketing agency. It aims to automatise advertising and product marketing by integrating data pipelines and collecting statistics. This way, their decisions are driven by analytics and data rather than gut feeling. For Vinst, we provided naming, brand strategy, branding and website design.
During the brand strategy, we defined the company's core foundations, formulated the mission and manifesto, and created the brand's voice and tone. While the brand strategy was developed in close collaboration with managers from Vinst, the naming was done solely by Klad. Core naming criteria were short form, available domain with ".agency" TLD, the integrated idea of core brand values and pronunciation simplicity. During the naming process at Klad, we provide clients with five options, which include domain suggestions and naming logic explainers.
Once the name was picked, we proceeded with the branding process. We start branding by creating three logo concepts for the client to choose from and provide us with feedback for finalisation. However, as Vinst wanted Klad designers to take all of the decisions for the branding process, we didn't have any of the review rounds with the client but had more intense internal team review sessions.
As a result, we came up with a logo where the symbol is embedded in the text. The core idea of the logo comes from naming, which in translation from Swedish means "profit", which we integrated into the logo with the plus sign. We also created a 3D variation for the symbol, which we largely reutilised for SMM and other marketing materials.
Vinst is a result of the comprehensive approach and an example of how we formed a brand from nothing by defining its tone, mission, and voice, giving it a name and visual shape.
